부사(Adverbs)의 종류

장소, 방법, 시간, 조건, 이유 등 배경 상황

• 전치사구
• to부정사구
• 현재분사구
• 과거분사구
• 부사절

 

1) 부사 : 일반적인 부사

I have done it already

I did it quickly

= I quickly did it

 

2) 전치사구

He arrived at school. (장소)

I could do it with difficulty. (방법 : 어떻게)

= I could, with difficulty, do it.

 

3) TO부정사구 : 4가지 용법???

He tried his best to achieve the goal. (목적)

It is so nice to see you. (원인)

She has enough money to buy a new car. (용도)

I got up only to find her gone. (결과)

 

4) 현재분사구 : ~ing

동시동작 or 부대상황

He was standing there waiting for someone.

Reading a novel, Sarah felt so happy.

Michael was scared, so, walking through the door, he kept silent.

 

5) 과거분사구 : ~p.p

She sometimes feel lonely when left alone.

Written in ancient languages, the letters were totally unreadable.

The man, so much surprised, never stopped screaming.

 

6) 부사절 : 종속접속사절

Because I love you, I can't let you go.

Please let me know as soon as you come to my office.

Bill Clinton, while he was a Senator, was already famous all over the US.
